EDUCATION—With a B.A. in English from prestigious Baylor University, I deliver copy backed by advanced training in creative, persuasive, and informative writing, as well as research, analysis, and logic. EXPERIENCE—For over ten years, I’ve been helping others improve their communications. My client list ranges from small non-profit groups to multibillion-dollar firms including Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Inspiration Consulting, SodaPop Media, and Valley Creek Church. Plus, I’ve worked with individuals holding positions as executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, doctors, and pastors to achieve their personal and professional writing goals.

PASSION—Copywriting isn’t just something I picked up in college, or decided to try as a career change. I’ve been passionate about excellence in communication—and winning the awards to prove it—since age seven. Delivering clear, compelling copy comes naturally.

Before writing a word, I spend time getting to know you, your project, and your target audience. I’ll research everything from technical specs, industry publications, and competitors’ marketing to audience profiles and consumer demographics—everything you can pile on me.

I’ll also admit I’m a bit of a perfectionist and overachiever. So if I see something more to be done or get an inspiration for design, I’ll make notes to you along with the copy. I’m also happy to review your proofs to make sure the copy is transferred correctly and laid out effectively. In fact, I’d prefer it. I want everything to be done well—as I’m sure you do, too.
